Our team has been on its own scavenger hunt as well—as we look for the causes behind the plumbing issues our clients face. And of course, we find the best, most affordable solutions so they don’t have to deal with problems anymore. Check out what we’ve been up to this week by reading on.
Installation of New Bathroom Fixtures in Cleburne TX
Our homes undergo a lot of renovations and upgrades, whether it’s a new appliance, a bigger closet, or an improved entertainment area. Sadly, bathroom fixtures take a back seat when it comes to these home improvements. Considering how much time we spend in our bathrooms every single day, a good bathroom renovation could drastically improve our comfort.
So how do we know when it’s time for a bathroom upgrade? Here are a few signs you as a homeowner have probably noticed:
- Your fixtures are dripping, which has caused an increase in the water bill.
- The fixtures look old, rusty, and worn-out, which affects your home’s overall cleanliness.
- Connections seem loose, and you can’t tighten it no matter how hard you try.
Whatever the reason, we all just want bathrooms that look nicer and are comfortable. Our client in Cleburne, Texas was ready to spruce their bathroom up so they gave us a call. We installed all the new fixtures in the bathroom, which include a showerhead, handles, and sprayer. The project took our team a day to complete.
Detecting a Broken Concrete Pipe in Euless TX
Pipes can break or leak over time. It could be caused by changes in pressure, an earthquake, or really cold weather. Regardless of what the reason is, they can cause a lot of problems, especially if they’re left alone for a long period of time. Broken pipes can flood your basement, damage your ceilings and walls, and more. Nothing good will come out of a cracked pipe, as they will lead to thousands of dollars in damage that you would need to repair or replace.
So what can you do if you think you may have a cracked pipe? Simple. You need to call an expert right away so they can figure out where the crack is, and repair it immediately. And that’s exactly what our client in Euless, Texas did.
Our customer had a leak in his sewer system. We had to isolate the sewer system so we could identify where the leaks were under the foundation. To do so, we installed cleanouts. Once we had the access excavated, we noticed they had a crack all the way down the pipe in their yard. You can see the crack in the picture above! Our team had to excavate a total of 5 feet back to get to a good pipe.
This project took one plumber and one helper half a day to work on everything.
Hot Water Problems Solved in Fort Worth TX
Imagine waking up early to get ready for work. Everything is freezing, and you are looking forward to taking a long, hot bath. You turn the hot water on, but lo and behold, it’s still cold! What a nightmare.
We love soaking in hot showers. And who doesn’t? Hot water can reduce headaches, relieve muscle tension, or just make us feel better in general. You can imagine the consternation of our Fort Worth client when their water would not switch to hot or even stay hot.
After a quick evaluation, it turns out that the cartridge in their Kohler shower valve needed to be replaced. It took our team just an hour to replace the valve, and now our client can go back to taking those long, hot, relaxing showers.
